the introduction of the edition The history of the oncology
</ i> Professor D.J. Theo Wagener that will be presented
late May by the publisher Bohn Stafleu van Loghum.
Prof. Wagener, Emeritus Professor of medical oncology, describes
in this edition all aspects of the problem cancer from a
historical perspective.
The occasion of the letter from the edition was an invitation for
a presentation on the history of the oncology. During the
preparation of this it became clear that there is no book in
which the history about the oncology was displayed. However there
were scattered in the literature have much data available. By
reading these writings Theo Wagener was to own say struck by the
fascinating stories hidden behind some discoveries. For him the
reason for writing this book
